Heading to NYC weekend before Christmas, thurs-sun. My time will be limited by a conference…all day Friday, half day sat, although I’ll be able to duck out early.
Booked Le Bernardin for dinner Thursday night. Plan on 9/11 museum. Wife wants to see Rockettes.
Have been to Empire State Building and MOMA.
Any other can’t miss attractions?

Met Museum is always nice.
A warning: Lots of people visit NYC kin around Christmas. The Met and other museums can be swamped, especially if bad weather pushes them inside. Buying a membership helps a bit.
A recent addition to my list of things to do in NYC is to get measured for online clothing purchases at Proper Cloth. I go to the 5th Ave address LINK . Getting professionally measured and trying styles on, greatly improves online shopping outcome.

Check out the Christmas Market at Bryant Park. There are a number of markets, but most sell the same stuff and Bryant Park is the best, IMO.

If you want to do a museum, try the Frick Collection or the Guggenheim.

Christmas...you have to have a Saturday afternoon drink at Tavern on the Green. The Christmas "feel" in that place has to be experienced.

Will be VERY heavy. Sits within the underground footprint of the Towers. Extremely heavy just so you are aware. Otherwise you’re going at the magical time of year. That being said, pre-plan and pre-purchase tickets to what y’all want to do ahead of time. It’s a crowded mess all of the time but it’s the most crowded mess from pre-Christmas week to New Year’s Day. Go see the tree and see how clumsy y’all can be trying to skate at 30R.
It’s cliché but worth it for the memory, though the wait will be gnarly.
Bleeker Street Pizza in the Village for a perfect example of NY pizza. Don’t deny yourself a slice from there.

Visit the Summit, all glass observation deck 91 stories up at night to see the city all lit up. Amazing. Maybe a Broadway show.
