Check in time at KMSY

I am assuming that you mean MSY (New Orleans) and board 30 minutes prior to flight departure, so assume 11:15 a.m. boarding. If you have TSA Pre and you are checking bags, arrive 30-45 minutes prior, so 10:30 a.m. to be safe, but 10:45 a.m. also works. It also depends on which airline and if you have priority with that particular airline. For example, if you are A-List or better with Southwest, it just takes 5 - 10 to check bags and only 5 - 10 minutes to go through TSA-Pre (unless there is a convention in town departing that day). I routinely show up at one hour prior to departure at MSY. That is usually by taxi or short term garage. If I am returning a rental I add at least half hour.

For international you might want to add an hour if it doesn't impede your day too much.

Also US Parkign on Vets has been really doing a nice job lately. MSY parking on-site is a mess some days.
