California plans to reopen its economy by June 15 so long as there are enough Covid-19 vaccine shots for everyone who wants them and hospitalizations remain stable, Gov. Gavin Newsom said Tuesday.

No one is going to budge on that until the WH/CDC change the guidance. We'll be waiting a while.

This is especially an issue with big private businesses that are still requiring them. Really lame, though I'm seeing some momentum building towards removing it.

I've guessed July 4th for a long time now. Administration likes big dates for announcements.

There also will not be a full return to pre-pandemic life. Notably, California’s mask mandate will remain in place.

Following up, there's a report the government is entering a deal with Uber and Lyft to make vaccination site trips free until......

July 4th.

Showing their hand. If they come out with some half arse announcement that day we may see tomato throwing
