I am thinking of booking one of these properties for our 10 year anniversary next summer. Anyone have any experience at one or both?

Appreciate any insight or other recommendations!

I've been quite a few times (I had a wealthy friend who liked to treat our group of friends to long weekends there). It's wonderful. It's expensive. It's hard to beat an afternoon at Yallerhammer drinking bottles of Saison by the fire in the Fall.

I've been to Blackberry Mountain as well. It's gorgeous, but it's not quite as.. resort like in that you can't just drive golf carts around everywhere around the spread out, gorgeous grounds.

Very expensive, but worth it if you value fine dining and high-level service. We have stayed in the Holly Glade Cottage Suites and they are fantastic for a romantic stay - much more privacy than staying in the main lodge. The spa and activities are extra (also expensive), but are very well done.

I second what the others have said. My line is: There can be value at any price point. Blackberry is just a very high one.

StYed at blackberry farm several times

Took one of their Lexus sports cars to blackberry mountain for a tour. Very nice but not as quaint. Mountainous with more homesites and one big lodge. More spa-like

The farm has great food and wine. Amazing service 24/7. Nice clay shooting range and some fly fishing which is sort of beginner level.

Overall recommend highly

I know they did a partnership with MasterCraft a few years back and had a few models available for use, but that’s all I know about the place.

My only recommendation is to book it as soon as possible. It fills up quickly.
I tried booking it once months in advance on a non holiday week, but there was no availability except for the large places.

Never been to Blackberry Mountain, but I have been to Blackberry Farm and the sister property, High Hampton.

Yes, it is expensive. But I have never regretted a stay. I would highly recommend it.

Stayed there and highly recommend it. There are minimum night stays I believe it’s 3 nights. The food is outstanding and they have a wine/liquor collection that has everything you can imagine. All excursions are extra whether it’s hiking fly fishing etc. There are times where there are special guests/concerts or experiences making it more difficult to randomly book. You will not be disappointed by the level of service you will experience but as others have said it is pricey but you will leave relaxed and very happy.
