Looking to book 4 nights end of November. Looking for pretty beach, reasonably calm water, nice resort, reasonable ease of travel. Nightlife and things to do otherwise would be a plus but would prioritize the resort/beach if had to choose

Given those factors, hard to beat Mexico.

Hard to beat Aruba. Very friendly, safe, easy to get around. Wife and i went last week and it was extremely relaxing.

Right now, I agree on both Aruba and Cancun area (including Isla Mujeres, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, and Tulum).

Even for the countries / islands that are open, many are a pain in the arse to get to right now bc of limited flight schedules, especially nonstop flights, which is pretty important when you only have 4 days.

I’d look at Cancun, Cozumel, or the US Virgin Islands. Second tier choices would be D.R. or Jamaica.

Keep in mind these recommendations are based on the current environment right now.

In normal conditions, based on your criteria, I’d recommend Grand Cayman or St John.

Cancun 100%. The deals going on during COVID are crazy. The one thing you need to watch out for is hurricane damage. I’ve seen multiple resorts have stuff that is closed down due to the damage

I just went to Aruba for the 2nd time. The calmest water I’ve ever seen. It’s like pool water. $1,600 for flights and 4 nights for two people. Not all inclusive though so you can spend a bunch a money while at the resort if you choose to. Or just hang out at the beach and pool for free.

Didn’t explore nightlife other than restaurants and casino at the resort.

Marriott Stellaris Resort booked through Vacations by Marriott . You can find some amazing deals there for flight/room combo.

Our original flight was cancelled about a month ahead of time by United. They moved us to AA which just a layover on the way back instead of direct. PCR Covid test required 72 hours prior which I got at CVS for free.
