Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas. Possibly the best dive shop in the world.

Sorry, my dumbass read Bahamas.

Bermuda is fantastic. Rent scooters and tool around the island.

Bermuda is fantastic! Rent a scooter and drive around the island. Do not miss the museum on the western side of the island at the tip of the fish hook located in an old fort! Rent a small boat and drive around the bay. Couple of great golf courses. Someone mentioned SCUBA. The diving in Bermuda is remarkable! There are numerous old ship wrecks you can dive on. The vis is easily 100+. I was blessed to be able to all that stuff when I went.

However, it's been a long time and I don't remember much about the food. I do remember going to a couple of old bars that were cool. Bermuda is a special place and I really want to go back. Please post your experience when you get back.

I’ve done the scooter thing multiple times and enjoyed it, but I’m done with that. It’s a crowded island with lots of traffic, which seems to have gotten worse over the years. Seen too many accidents involving those scooters. Taxis are expensive though.

rent a scooter if you are up for it and go to both ends of the island. I think they also rent golf cart type things now to tourists, but tourists can't rent cars.

crystal caves are cool.
We rented paddleboards at blue hole watersports by grotto beach resort, there is also a cave right there that is free to go in and you can swim in the water.
Beach hop from Elbow beach, down to around The Reefs resort. Best beaches in the world along that stretch.
Go to the Swizzle inn (2 locations) and get a swizzle. Henry VIII has good sushi.
climb to the top of the lighthouse
maritime museum
If you have time and budget, there is some of the best deep sea fishing in the world there depending on when you go. My friend runs sea wolfe sportfishing, The challenger is also a really good boat.

I went for the first time last year. Please rent a Bermi from Localmotion instead of a scooter. Roads and tight and people drive crazy. Plus the Bermi is a side by side with enough room in the back for a couple bags.

Bermuda honestly wasn't my favorite. It didn't really have it's own food scene. Was mostly Indian or British. Very expensive island as well. Here are some highlights though as we were in an Airbnb in Paget.

- Hog Penny Pub. Bartends gave some great recommendation while on the island.
-Island Cuisine is a good locals spot for breakfast. Nothing fancy but the nicest locals.
-Gulfstream for dinner. The owner of Localmotion recommended this (and we actually saw him there that night). Was best food for the price we had. It's right next to horseshoe bay beach.
-Jobson's cove beach will likely be packed. Go right next to it and enjoy Warwick long bay beach. Long beach where you can have some peace and enjoy the rock formation in the water if you need some action
-

Oh, and watch out for man-o-war. When we were there, literally hundreds on every major beach as it was offseason. Horseshoe bay, they will patrol and clean them up but not the other uncontrolled beaches.

I went 25 years ago and had a blast on the scooter. But you have to keep your wits about you. Because you drive on the left side, you have to remind yourself, when making a right turn, to go across the lane. Supposedly, the majority of ER visits are tourist scooter accidents.

Definitely don't go there if you want to be blown away by the food. There aren't any must eats places. but Portofino is good and lobster pot in Hamilton.

You can sneak into the tea time at the Reefs hotel from 2-4 every day and grab some cookies and finger sandwiches. Can also walk down to their private beach and swimming pool, unless they have made it more secure in the last few years.
