Anyone have any info on the Bahamas? Thinking about taking the wife for a few days. Any help would be appreciated.

Look at the sticky thread. I'd stay out of Nassau. Look at Exuma and Eleuthera.

Do what motorboat said. Those islands are a much better option than Nassau.

In February we stayed at grand hyatt Baha Mar for a work convention. New property. Beautiful and tons of restaurants

Exuma all day.

Stayed in Exuma a few weeks ago.
Highlight of the trip was a full day private charter with Island Boys.
In one day we:
Cruised famous people's islands
Staniel Cay
Swam with nurse sharks
Grotto
Swam with pigs
Iguana island
Drank a ton of Goombay Smash
Other days we mainly hit the beach. Not much else going on there. Places close early and there wasn't much of a nightlife that I could tell.
Went diving one day. Operation was a shite show and I wouldn't go back.
Beautiful water though.

If you are only going for 2-3 days, nassau/paradise island might be the best bet since connections to other islands can be difficult depending on where you want to go. Marsh harbor has an airport that you can fly to from a few places and the abaco beach resort is nice.
