Anyone been to Hilton Rose Hall in Montgego Bay?

It's an all inclusive. Looks nice and mostly good reviews on TripAdvisor

I've been looking at this place for several months as I have a lot of hilton points. Just haven't made myself pull the trigger due to most time frames them wanting 100,000 points a night.
I search the reviews with an eye on the negative and over the past 3 months there are a lot of crappy reviews. Much of it seems to be about outdated rooms and poor food quality.

Those reviews sound like reviews for most all-inclusives.
I just looked at the resort for the first time, and it looks nice, but 128K points per night is grossly overpaying. You come out significantly better paying with cash.
If you are looking to take a trip and use your miles, there seems to be much better values out there.

I plan to pay cash not points and yes, most all inclusive reviews are similar.

We went there for about 6 hours as an "excursion" on our cruise stop in Falmouth. It has very nice grounds, beautiful beach and water, and a large lazy river pool with slides and swim up bar. I did have the jerk chicken and it was great. I couldnt see my self staying there for a week though, couple days would be the most. Theres not much to do outside of the resort also. Cant speak to how the rooms are since we did not have one.

If you're paying cash and looking at Rose Hall, I would recommend the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall.
