Looking to get away to the Caribbean or somewhere tropical in South America. Is anywhere open to go?

Some of the Islands are opening to US travelers in July. Some are requiring a negative covid test within 3 days of arriving. Mexico is supposed to be opening to travelers this week. South America is mostly still closed.

US Virgin Islands are open today. I believe Antigua & Barbuda is as well. I recall if Mexico, specifically Riviera Maya region, isn't 'open' now then it should be very soon.

Several other islands in the Caribbean are opening to tourists over the next few weeks, including Jamaica, Aruba, St. Barths, and the Bahamas. I glance at the Caribbean Journal from time to time (LINK /). There is some good info on this site with regards to what islands are open and when others are re-opening to U.S. tourists.
