I think Breck is the perfect spot. Did it last summer and can’t wait to go back
It’s a perfect balance of plenty to do yet not too stuffy and expensive. Has everything from low key bars to fine dining. Plenty to do during the day

Breckinridge or Frisco definitely. Stayed in Breckinridge for our honeymoon in July and was fantastic. I’d also look into Estes park if your interested in traveling through Rocky Mountain national park. Another great town to explore.

That’s awesome. Me and my wife bikes up to Frisco from Breck
You can do some hiking as well.
Man, I miss those mornings of having a cup of coffee in June and it would be 40 outside of that clean mountain air.

Yea we tried biking from Breckinridge to frisco during our trip and had to walk our bikes up the mountain. I thought we were in shape and was not prepared for that. She parked at a restaurant and almost divorced me right there for making her do that.
If your looking for another fun drive, from Breckinridge, drive to Buena vista and go white water rafting in brown’s canyon off the Arkansas river. Got some nice rapids out there and the drive is beautiful. Went through a massive valley between some mountains and either side is nothing but mountains in the distance and grassy plains with the old wooden fence posts as far as you can see with prong horn antelope everywhere on that stretch. Barely any people u til you reach the city.
