I know most of the award charts for the carriers I fly most and utilize the resources on FlyerTalk a ton, especially for premium fare mistake fares and sales.
Typically, by the time a place like The Points Guy picks it up, the deal is about to die

Flyer Talk. There is literally an around the world trip starting in Paris for 2600 Euro in business class that has been available for probably more than a year.
Usually "deals" aren't hard to find if you're flexible, particularly on dates.

Where are you seeing a RTW fare that low that's still alive?

God bless you for traveling like a young man. I’m starting to plan a trip for my wife and I’s 40th birthday. Our travel is still very active at our destination, but my appetite for a lot of interim packing/unpacking and multiple plane rides is waning.

This was one of the most laid back international vacations we've taken since we spent 8 days in the same place.
5 cities, 4 countries in 9 days back in 2018 was a struggle but we typically try and go 2-3 places each time we travel abroad, especially if we're going for more than a week. There's a lot of world out there to explore!
We're doing Germany, Italy, and Switzerland in September

ANA had an around the world flight in business class for 125k Amex points. I'm not sure if it still exists.

That's why I'm asking. I know they pop up and go away extremely fast. You have to be really careful at first glance on FT as a thread can go on for a while long after the actual fare is dead. If he found one that's live now I'd be interested in booking it

Thanks, I remember seeing one from *A, that started in Paris I believe, that was around for a long time but haven't seen any discussion about it recently.
EDIT: Here's the thread

If you can make the mileage chart work you can still fly ANA around the world for 125000 miles in business class. Up to 12 segments and 8 stopovers. There's a mileage chart with all of the rules in the link below. I've also included a link to other airlines around the world redemptions. If you can get the 1:1.6 Amex redemption for AeroMexico they have a pretty nice deal with up to 15 stopovers.

Appreciate this! I don't have the time to take 3-4 weeks off for a true RTW trip at the moment but if I can book some long stopovers I may be able to break this into a few different trips

NH Collection Brussels Grand Sablon
Never stayed at an NH Collection hotel before (or even heard of them) but we booked through AmEx and it was better than expected. Location was perfect and the room was large and modern.

Is that an indoor pool? Or some sort of large jacuzzi?

I would only recommend it (renting a car) if visiting more rural areas.
That made me laugh. That's one of the most no-shite statements ever for anyone going to Italy.
I didn't see any of the squads of military personnel in your shots of Brussels. Were there any patrols that you noticed? I would see them near my hotel next to EU HQ about every 90 minutes. There were some epic mustaches to go along with the impressive firepower.

It was a large jacuzzi. The spa area was clearly an addition, though well done, and they had the in-ground hot tub
