So the wife and I have the week off. Also a couple friends that were going with us. We are now looking for something to do. Open to ideas.

If you do all inclusive, you should pick Playa Del Carmen instead of Cozumel. There aren't a lot of them on the island and PDC has much prettier beaches than Cozumel. Cozumel is more of a snorkel place and the bay side of the island has rocky iron shore beaches.

An all inclusive would be similar to a cruise vacation, with swim up bars, lots of restaurant choices, and also a nice beach. I know folks who have been recently and had no problems with Covid at the resort. I think they did an excursion one of their days there.

Find a special rate and go wherever it takes you. Play around with this website and you can find a good deal.
Vacations

We booked 4 nights plus airfare in Aruba @ $750 a person. Nice resort.

Casa Velas in Puerta Vallarta. All inclusive and adults-only. Took my wife (no pics) for our 10th anniversary and already planning a trip back.

They usually run a deal where you pay for 3 nights and get a 4th for free.
