Okay, 6 months ago, we booked an Airbnb in SF mainly b/c we have never seen the golden gate bridge or been to Napa.

Obviously today we are concerned about booking or continuing with this trip in May.

Should we cancel or just wait. It seems things may still be closed which is just crazy. If we do cancel, any other ideas?

Thanks!

I was married in Napa and have been there (and SF) 5 or 6 times. Love(d) the area, but at this point, with the way California is going, I can't imagine going back there. Between the shut downs, the homeless/drug problem and the crazy politicians, I would cancel and book somewhere else. But that's just me.

With all of the shutdowns and other turmoil. You need to cancel. That will be one shitty honeymoon. On second thought, maybe it will be excellent -- because the only fun you'll be able to have is locking away and boinking the nights away.

Seriously, Go somewhere else. Key West or Bahamas or something. Hell, I'd even go up to South Dakota and enjoy the outdoors without being locked down.

Anything but Cali will be better.

Full Disclaimer: I used to live in Cali. And I grew to HATE the place. So, my advice is definitely tainted.

That was our second choice actually. anyone have experience at H20 Suites or the Southernmost? Both look really nice and other TD threads have talked about these two.

Bump, what’s the word? Traveling to Cali next month...may switch, but plan is just to ride the coast and enjoy the scenery...

We didn’t have the best experience at Southernmost a few months ago. Our room was not clean and they were working on the fire alarms, which of course went off at 3 am. They seemed overwhelmed/short staffed.

It was my first trip to key west. Next time we will probably stay two nights in key west then a few nights on another key. We stopped at Isla Bella on the way out and that place seemed NICE. We will be looking into that next time.

We did enjoy sunset dinner at Latitudes, which must be booked in advance. Perfect honeymoon dinner spot.

It is a small step, but it is in the right direction...

On a side note I like his and Andrew Cuomo's timing

Targeting the Central Coast

Monterey to LA....

Focus on Big Sur, Paso Robles....etc

If anyone has any info they would like to share about that whole stretch...would appreciate it!

If I were you I would avoid LA and go past it to Newport, Huntington, Laguna or probably the best place on earth Dana Point. Stay at the Waldorf if you go there and stop by Stacks Pancake House to get the Capin Crunch Macadamia nut French Toast

They will all be more open than LA which still has a tight grip
Also Santa Barabara is opened up my bro just went there and everyone is over it having a good time

Said it was amazing
Diego is still lame but more and more ppl have had it and just saying frick it

But all out door dining is allowed despite ICU more packed than it was in DEC when they locked it down
