They're factory reconditioned, but still a good price. Normally $275 I think.

It's the 3-pack.

Not familiar with these and wanting to upgrade my wifi setup, in home. Are you familiar with how well they work?

I have the Google one, and it work very well. We had some dead spots in our 3 story, ~3,000 square foot home, and it solved that, and even extended the range to the backyard.

I've heard and read equally good things about the Orbi system.

Would you recommend this to replace an aging Apple based wifi system that is at least 6 years old?

It's probably the ones I sent back because they were trash. Google wifi 100x better. Oh, and my church had major problems as well and they got rid for google wifi and boom, problem solved. I'd never recommend Orbi products.

Which Orbi system did you try? There are several

I’ve used the RBK50 & RBK53 systems on gigabit fiber networks and they’ve been rock solid. I’ve also used Google WiFi on a slower network and they’ve been solid as well

I have Orbi RBK50 and gigabyte internet no issues and strong WiFi across 2500 sq ft.

People have issues with every brand and model and are going to suggest the one they have had the best luck with. Net gear is the only brand mesh system and routers I have used and never had any issues.

This right here. I stressed about the decision, but every article you read seems to poke holes through all the options. I went with Eero and have enjoyed the improvements to my WiFi coverage around the house.

I’m not tech savvy, but a lot of the highest profile mesh systems are so user friendly with each having a set of unique features. I’d read about the top 3-4 and go with the one you like from your own research. Hard to mess it up from my experience.

Orbi RBK53 mesh nodes have better hardware than Goggle wifi nodes. it is a fact.

And I agreed with him on each brand having issues.. As noted, I’m not tech savvy to go into the details you are mentioning.

Yep. I chose the Google one because I thought the units were way less intrusive and more aesthetic than the other options. Set up was a breeze and no problems whatsoever with it in over a year.

only downside of Orbi over google is the size. the google puck are very small and the Oribi's are rather big. But they that size you do get larger antennas and a 3rd antenna that is the dedicated backchannel that google pucks dont have.
