I have had a windows phone for about 4 years and it has given me good service. However, the apps are limited and I no longer am able to use the Watch ESPN app. Does anyone know of a way I can get this app back before I switch to android or iPhone? Any way of downloading an android app to a windows phone?

I had the same problem and ended up jumping to Android. (Pixel 2XL). It can do 95% of what the Windows phone did and some things better. The Pixel is pure Android, which means it doesn't have the bloatware and has great battery life -- both of which I liked about the Windows phone.

BTW, Microsoft makes an Android launcher now that is pretty cool. It doesn't look like the old Windows phone but has many of its features and runs all of the Android apps. I don't use it but it might be something you want to check out.

I miss my old Windows phone; had the Nokia 920 and the 1520.

Their lack of app support killed them.

ETA- Anyone remember the chick they had in their commercials? Her title was something like “Jane, from client services.”

They tried. MS threw money at developers but they wouldn’t bite
