Will newer version of Firestick fix the ESPN+ issue?

I'm so tired of having to log off and log back into ESPN+ every time I want to watch a game on the ESPN app.
If I upgrade to a newer version of the 4K Firestick (MAX or Cube), will that issue go away? Any other fixes with my current (older) Firestick?
This is a pain in the arse to deal with.

Have you tried resetting it to the factory default

I have the Fire TV Cube, 2019 release, but I bought it in 2021. No issues with ESPN+ at all. I also have two Sticks that were purchased in 2018, and they work just fine with ESPN+. If a factory reset doesn't fix it then I'd replace with a new one.

I have firesticks both old and new and do not have this problem. Sounds like something in your settings is clearing info after shut down.

I'm trying to move away from Amazon stick or TV. Always issues and the remotes get lost.

shite, I have to do that on the app on my phone to cast it every time. PITA.

It’s a pain in the arse setting it back up but when I was having problems with ESPN that is what I did. That fixed it for me

Usually, an uninstall / reinstall of the ESPN app fixes it.
