Wifi Router Recommendations

I'm changing internet providers next Monday from Uverse at a whopping 18 mbps to Spectrum at up to 200 mbps. Instead of renting a router through Spectrum for $5 a month, I was thinking of just buying my own.
Anyone have any recommendations for a reasonably priced router that can support these speeds? Primary uses will be for laptops, tablets, phones, and streaming TV.
Thanks in advance.

personally i love the Asus 86u which hovers around $200 but mainly because i take advantage of having dynamic DNS so i can connect to my home PC anywhere and love the full-fledged featureset.

Do you need a modem too? How big is your home and where will your router be located?
By asking this, I assume not the most tech savvy so want something fairly easy.
If a smaller house that doesn’t need a mesh system or multiple APs, I like Netgear Nighthawks. Very good and popular routers, easy to setup.

Don't need a modem. House is about 2200 sq ft, router is located pretty centrally in the house.
Yes, something failry easy would be great. Just want to make sure I can take full advantage of my new internet speed.

They will include a modem for no charge or I can provide my own. I'm letting them supply it. For the router I can rent one from them for $5/month or provide my own. That's what I'm looking into now.

Oh! Normally they also lease the modem.

Google Mesh Wifi is what I have. I see it talked about a lot on here. I'm please with it.
