More info needed.
What exactly are you doing?
What exactly is it doing?
When exactly is it doing it?
Your post is like going to a mechanic and saying...

If you’re running Windows go to the PC on your desktop. Right Click on the C drive or the drive where Windows is installed and click properties. Click Disk Cleanup. The small window that appears will have the rest of the instructions on it. Also try to scan your PC with Windows Defender, to be sure that your PC is free of malware.

The 5400 RPM drive it come with is crap. Upgrade to SSD by either replacing the 5400 drive or install a m.2 SSD. If you go the m.2 route make sure you get a NVMe and not SATA.

How long since you restarted it? How long since you ran Windows Update?
Whatever internet explorer you use may need to be updated.
Might have too many programs running. Need to make sure not everything is running automatically at startup

Most likely a combination of updates and slow HDD, as previously mentioned if the slow speeds are really bothersome you should swap in a SSD.

Switching to chrome helped. I update on a regular basis.
