Since Office 365 includes 5 user licenses, why not offer a friend $25 for a license?
its not the cost really. its dealing with Microsoft and managing the account. its a nightmare. its so confusing. Icant stand it. I waste a lot of time managing my account, and dealing with passwords and account usernames and passwords. Microsoft is so confusing. it took me over an hour just to find out how to cancel my subscription or even manage payment options. I can afford the subscription-it costs $99 a year. I make over $225,000 yearly. its not about the money. I just need the programs, but I dont like dealing with Microsoft.

Given the grammar used I'm going to assume it's not the only thing you find confusing.

Put your credit card info in when you sign up.
Pay your credit card bill.
Subscription auto renews each year.
If there is a problem you get an email that takes you right to the billing area to enter another payment method.
Not complicated.

s it really that hard to pay $100 a year as a business expense???
It’s not about the money! It’s about managing the account, it’s about the confusing interface with Microsoft! It drives me crazy! It’s ridiculous! I want to buy the software and be done with it!!! BUT NOOOOOOO!!!!!! now I have to login and have a password, and manage my account and have a back up email address and choose my payment method!! I HATE the MICROSOFT OFFICE 365 website, it seems like I have at least 3 different emails they have listed for me!!
ITS NOT ABOUT the $99 !!!!!!
Go get an OFFICE 365 account and you might feel the way I do!!

Challenge me then. I LOVE WRITING. I’ll run circles around you. I write copy all the time, ive written speeches, presentations. Would you like to see some of my writings. I’m sorry but when I’m posting on any message board I do it with a pretty minimal effort, just trying to make my point and click submit and get back to work.
It’s ridiculous you’re critiquing my writing based on a few posts on a message board.
I’m proud of my creative writing skills and I’d love to share some of my work. I’ve also written lyrics to songs , I can send you some of them. You’d be impressed with the word play and cleverness. Send me an email.
And what kind of writing do you do?

Jesus Christ!! I thought this board was to get advice and tips! I just wanted an alternative to having to MANAGE AN OFFICE 365 ACCOUNT!!!! Because I don’t particularly care for their website!! I also can’t stand Office 365 email interface.
But so many people want to make all these comments and judge me and critique me and question my reason and assume all these things!!
I appreciate the guys who just made recommendations for me ! I ended up buying a copy of Microsoft Office for $35 on G2A.com or whatever it was called, and I don’t have to deal with Microsoft.

It’s not about the money. It’s about having to create another account . I have enough online accounts to manage already and I don’t particularly care for the Office 365 website. I don’t find it easy to use. I find eBay easy to use. I find medicare.gov easy to use. I find blue cross and blue shield of La. very difficult to use. Some websites are smooth, slick and easy to use. Others , like Microsoft Office, I find clunky and confusing. I just want to avoid having to use their website. It’s got nothing to do with the cost.

I've been paying the subscription for years, but as an insurance agent, i dont have much need for most of the programs. I mostly just need a word processor to draft letters to clients. Do you think sites like Soulseek would have this?
Hmm, I feel the same way about car insurance.

Why are you calling me a thief? I didn’t steal anything. I paid someone $35.00 for Microsoft Office on G2A.com. Are you telling me you have never used Peer to Peer websites and shared files with other users?
Why did you even have to stick your nose into my thread? I was just seeking a tip or suggestion and instead of just moving on to the next thread, you decided you needed to make some kind of statement, interject your opinion. I don’t come to these message boards for interaction and a search for fulfillment. I ask my question and then I’m back to my job , I enjoy doing my job everyday. The challenges are fulfilling. I don’t want to sit here and nitpick with you and exchange comments. I don’t have time for people like you who are looking for some type of engagement over comments that are made. This post of mine has been a disgusting experience, with several people like yourself who just chose to make snarky comments, trying to be clever, trying to belittle someone else, any way you can. Good for you. Fortunately for me someone advised me to go to G2A and I got what I wanted and it wasn’t about the money, it was about being able to avoid having to manage an account on Office 365 website, which I don’t like. That’s all this was about!

Oh Jesus; pay your own way.
Oh Jesus. It’s not about the money at all. It’s about cutting the cord with Microsoft. The subscription can be a pain in the arse. It’s just me in the office. I don’t need all the bells and whistles that comes with the subscription. I spent over 30 minutes on the phone with an Office 365 rep who wanted to tell me how much the program can do for me. For my job, I just need the word processor and excel occasionally. I don’t need to be registered with an account and everything. That’s all I was trying to do was to minimize my activity on their website. It wasn’t about the cost for God’s sake!! It’s $99 a year! I’ve been paying it for over a decade!! It wasn’t about the money? Okay everyone?? Jesus Christ!!

This fricking guy. It's 2021, if you can't manage an 0365 subscription or hire a competent IT manager....good grief.
I'm going to lay out what's in your future in the next year or two. Your office will be destroyed by ransomware introduced by pirating word from some Russian goon. All your customer data will be stolen and sold. Your backups, which consist of an old Buffalo NAS plugged directly into a windows 2003 server, will be destroyed. Your windows 2003 server, which hosts your DC, DNS, Fileserver, RDP, and pictures of your dogs will be destroyed. At the end of a painful week your will be complaining about how you don't understand why some russian/indian/Chinese hackers would target you because "you are a small shop and don't have anything valuable worth stealing".
Or none of that happens and you luck your way through the ransomware scourge
Anyways, best of luck stealing your software. Paying someone who stole it is still stealing...

Russia Russia Russia, huh?
You think I’m worried about someone in Russia hacking my book of business which only stores demographic information available almost anywhere. All I need is your cell phone number and I could have all your demographic info in minutes, plus your relatives AND your neighbors. Anyone could do that legally on a computer with a simple subscription to such sites. And anyone standing behind you at some retail outlet could likely overhear you give your cell phone number to the cashier or whomever. So sorry about your own affairs. What are you doing lurking around these boards just reading posts where you can insert your nose and make assumptions and stupid predictions about what’s going to happen to my business. Ive run my own agency in Acadiana since 2000 and I’ll likely make $250,000 next year as an independent insurance agent. I have been blessed so far. I don’t take anything for granted.

So you think I should feel “fulfilled” after successfully been able to manage my profile and update my security preferences and payment method and designate my secondary email and etc, etc. I waste a lot of time everyday doing crap like thats NDA whether it’s challenging or not, there’s NOTHING “fulfilling” or “redeeming” about it. So your comment was just stupid. But I guess you thought that little “challenge” remark was clever. Good luck with that.
