To piggy back off the question, how can I learn SAP and certain accounting programs on the cheap?

If you are smart you can teach yourself Excel, VBA and SQL. SQL isn't that hard. SQL is all about repetition when it comes to learning it. You learn by doing.
Why is it so user unfriendly?
Easy:Drop down menu item, selection fills two other cells.
Excel=nametable,vlookup,done
Access=create table, create relationship, create form, create field, bind field, create combolist, import fields, rename fields, rename combo box, create action item, write program:
Private Sub cboCodeSelect_Change()
me.textDescription.Value=me.cboCodeSelect.column(1)
me.textFee.Value=me.cboCodeSelect.column(2)
Then toggle 200 properties (NO Motherfricker I don't want a God Damn Scroll Bar)...until it finally gives you what it obviously would have if it were user friendly.
Why is that simple functions are so complex to manually enter?
They can't make a Form menu option called "auto-populate"?
Select source field(s)-> select output field(s)...done.
