I’ve been a multi year fitbit user but I think it’s time to leave them and get deeper into the apple ecosystem. I’ve had the fitbit sense for about a year. I want the top end Apple Watch but I’m wondering if I should wait a few weeks for the new Apple Watch series 7 or just get the Apple Watch 6 instead.

I’m not sure if they will discontinue the 6 when the 7 comes out, because I guess I could get the 6 cheaper if I wait as well.

Edit: is cellular worth it? If I were to exercise outside I would likely keep my phone with me.

They wont discontinue the 6 and will be cheaper. From what Ive seen, there wont be much of a difference in the 6 and 7. Not like was expected anyway.

From what I've read the 6 will go away when the 7 comes out....they will have 3 levels of watch the series 3, SE, and series 7.

However the 6 and 7 have very few differences.

Go with the 6 if it’s a better value.
As far as cellular goes, I’ve got it but I enjoy being off the leash and being able to go in a store and leave my phone in the car, or go for a walk and leave the phone at home, or cut grass etc.

I’m debating on upgrading my series 3 for a 7. Was all set until the underwhelming reveal. Not sure if I should just wait until the series 8 or maybe get a used 6 or SE?
