So I just started having this issue a couple of days ago. For some reason, I can barely hear anything coming out of my left Airpod. I've done a Google search and I've tried what's been suggested - I cleaned the crap out of my left Airpod and checked the volume settings to make sure it's balanced. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA

this is weird as hell but you may need to suck on it slightly to pull some embedded wax out. seriously

How is your hearing?

It could be a phone issue. Test it by listening to something on the Bluetooth in your car. If it plays louder on the right side of the vehicle than the left, then it's not the airpods.

I have waterproof buds I use to swim. Every once in a while you have to turn the volume all the way up to equalize leave it that way out of ear for a while.

LOL! My first thought.

True story, I went to see an opthalmologist a month ago and said to him, "something is wrong with your equipment. The left side looks smoky and not as bright as the right side."

He said, "No, it's your eye."

Me: "No, it's your equipment."

So, he placated me, cleaned the lenses and then I realized he was right when he pulled the equipment back and said, "Well, based on my observation, you have a stage 4 cataract in your left eye."

I felt pretty silly.

That's normally the issue as gross, as it is.
