Can I buy a Pixel 2 without all of Verizons bloatware? Where would I buy it?

Of course. From Google.

Thanks. I was looking at them at Best buy and they said that it would have bloatware on it.

I don't think there's any bloatware on there other than a couple of basic Verizon apps. They can be uninstalled

I got mine from best buy and there was no Verizon bloatware on it.

This makes me want to buy the 3 when it comes out. The way I look at it, every phone will do what I want it to do. The two things that I worry about the most are battery life and bloatware

I bought mine from Verizon and it came with zero bloatware.

I guess the girl at Best Buy doesn't know what she is talking about. Not unheard of. I may go ahead and get it. Is the One Plus 6 comparable?

I worked at Verizon from 2015-17. No bloat ware. Most phone reps aren't nerds and don't know shite. If the phone detects a Verizon sim card it installs like My Verizon and two other things. all of which can be completely uninstalled.
Not disabled but uninstalled. It is much better than any iPhone 6 or 6s.

I'm not sure about the Pixel 2, but the original Verizon Pixel XL has a different bootloader than the direct from Google version. If you don't unlock it before any updates are installed, then it can't be unlocked. This is only important to people that want to root and run custom ROMSs.
