Still running on iOS 16. Should I go ahead and make the upgrade or stick on 16 as long as possible? Thoughts or experiences welcomed.

I’m normally the type that says alway upgrade. Always always always.
However iOS 17 has been an absolute buggy piece of shite for me. So many tiny frustrations that are consistent.
I haven’t looked but as long as there are no major CVEs for the latest iOS 16 I’d stay put for the time being.

Personally I stick to the old iOS as long as possible, unless I hear green flags across the board. Very seldom is there a feature behind the new iOS that is worth the headache.

I always upgrade the OS, as I'm worried about security exploits.
That being said, I'm still running a 11 pro max, and it runs the latest patch well.

Exactly. If you don;t update you are vulnerable to known exploits

It's a moot point now; the automatically updated itself last night.
