SEC Network is on the Core package. You don't need elite for that.

Well, shite. Thanks. I think I was looking at an incorrect area earlier. Put in my zip and it looks like you are correct. Even better. More $$$ saved.

I still havent had this question answered

It appears that my tv cable connecitons in the walls come from the outside directv splitter box thingy on the side of my house.

Can I basically unhook the directv dish that goes into it and run a cable from there to my attic where I will put an antenna?

The cable will run from my attic to that splitter then theoretically to all my tv's. Does that make sense?

That makes sense to me in order to get all of the over the air antenna channels. Then just connect your device/TV wireless to internet in order to do streaming.

Any of you cutters watching NFL on Twitter tonight? It's pretty cool IMO. I'd love to see an LSU game this way.

Not that I'm aware of, but that would be amazing...

I used the TV fool website to see what channels I should get with an antenna but my real results are all over the place. It said I should get all the major networks but CBS isn't really CBS despite having the same channel. I have 18 versions of ABC and no NBC or Fox at all.

I use Apple TV, Hd antenna, IPad/iMac and I'm able to get almost everything for free. If your parents or someone you know has a cox/direct tv subscription, just use their user name and password to activate all the apps. Apps that aren't on the Apple TV, ill manually download the Tv show apps from the App Store on my iPad, login with the cox/direct tv account and then air play that app to the Apple TV. I split the cost of HBO NOW, ShoTime anywhere, Netflix, Hulu with 4 other guys and I end up paying like $10 a month to have everything. I use girlfriends student Discount to get amazon prime free for 6 months and then it's 50% off the monthly bill which comes out to $50 a month-which I split the cost with my 4 friends. If you know someone who's willing to give you their direct tv and they already pay for all the premium channels then you can get all these free (including STARZ, Cinemax via App Store) For movies I use this site: (YTS.ag) to download all the latest releases in 1080p using a program called "transmission" on my mac. Once my movie is finished downloading I drag it into iTunes and from there my movie library streams to my Apple TV(s) via home sharing. I only use my HD antenna to catch NFL games. For UFC fights/sports events I use a website that I have saved on my home screen on my iPad to airplay to my Apple TV. I haven't paid for cable in like 5 years. I've found this to be the best way. I found that Using a jail broken fire stick is crap.

My main question is how can you get internet decently priced? I feel like you have to go with one of the cable providers? You wind up still paying upwards of $60/month for internet.

I pay $60 for charter internet but I was doing that anyway so I still save money just by cutting my cable subscription.

The 24mbps plan just got boosted up to 1TB of data allowance. It was previously half of that.

are there small hd antennas you can just connect directly to whichever tv you want to have them?

this may be an easier option than running new cable, which i may have to do for a couple tv's

Sure, of course. But you'll get more channels and a better reception out of the attic.

Google Mohu Leaf, or just go on Amazon and search HD Antenna

For some reason, USC/Utah isn't showing up on my FSGo app, and I can't get a single working link between Castaway and Sportsdevil.
