Universal Remote > sound bar + Roku TV

Need an affordable universal remote that will control a TCL roku TV and an LG sound bar. Would prefer to have something that doesn’t require me to switch inputs, i.e. when I press power it turns on both tv and sound bar, I don’t have to switch to the sound bar input to change the volume then back again to control TV.
Not losing the asterisk button functionality would be nice too, if possible.

How is the sound bar connected?
Most use HDMI ARC to adjust the volume and Power On/Off. So it should work with any remote.
If it’s not through HDMI, it may depend on if the soundbar is IR or RF.

Optical cables, so no ARC control.
Soundbar is IR

I have the TCL Roku. And a Yamaha sound bar.
When I used the optical wire I couldn’t control the volume with the roku remote, but I can with HDMI and I’m pretty sure there’s an HDMI ARC.
I do remember it taking a lot of tinkering with settings to figure it out.

Who is your tv series through DISH or DirecTV??
Most of their remotes can be programmed to control volume on the soundbars

Renewed Harmony 665
This one has a screen which you can bring commands onto + every key is remappable with their software.
You set up "activities" for each setup you want. So if you want to "watch Roku" where you need the tv on HDMI 1, the soundbar to do the volume, and the roku to change channels, that's what you can make it do. You can map the asterisk to wherever you like (color buttons, the screen, the number 4, etc).
Then you can do a separate "activity" for, say, "watch TV" with a cable box where the device won't recognize the Roku at all (but you can still get back to it and control each individual device even inside of another activity, if needed)
It can be very simple or very elaborate. The 665 uses regular batteries and is cheap
The 350 has no screen and is cheaper
The 700 is more expensive (~$50-80 depending on where you find it) but is rechargeable
The Elite Pro is probably what you would call unaffordable and would do way more than you'd want.

My stock Suddenlink remote turns on my sound bar and adjusts volume.
