Last few days its been lagging pretty bad at times. Taking up to 5-10 seconds sometimes for simple presses of the touchscreen to register for changing radio station and whatnot. Also laggy response when I use steering wheel controls for changing channel or voice command.

Tried doing the master reset and not only did it not solve the problem, but now I can’t even get to navigation screen. Everything else seems to work, still usually with a bit of lag.

Anybody else have this problem and any suggestion on a fix?

can you check to see if an update is available? Or do these newer ones update OTA? Mines a little older and takes a USB drive.

Have you tried disconnecting your battery? Try that for about 5 minutes and see if it helps.

I connected to wifi and checked for OTA after the hard reset but there wasnt one. I’m on version 2.2 right now and I couldnt find anything online about a version newer than that one. Had the truck 6 months and no issues til this week. Never tried updating until today

Did you think about asking the dealer?

Wanted to see if there was a simple DIY solution that would fix it before calling them. Trying to avoid the hassle of taking time off work to bring it to the dealer and being without a vehicle for a day. If I can't figure it out myself then I'll bring it to the dealer since its only a 6 month old truck and still under warranty.

Trying the battery disconnect idea tonight when I get home from work.

It's wild how it's gotten worse. In my 09 F-150 I hardly ever had a problem with it. in my 2012 F-150 it's constantly giving me problems.

I agree, I had a 2012 and it was horrible. I just bought a 2017 and it is light years better.

Sync works about 60% of the time in our 2011 Edge. It's not touchscreen though.

*Sync, please say a command*
*Bluetooth audio*
*No bluetooth device located, please wait while I try to connect.*

You stupid bitch, it's the same goddamn Bluetooth device you were connected to 5 minutes ago when I got to the gas station.
