Trouble with logging into espn app on iPhone and tablet

Recently I haven’t been able to login to espn app on my phone and tablet with the cable login.
It’s only allowing my espn+ login. I used to be able to log into both.
Any clue what can be done?
I’ve uninstalled the app and tried just about everything I can think of.

Nothing to add here, except hate for ESPN app & ESPN+.
Seems like there are always log in issues with at least one of my devices.

Usually if you click on a game that requires the use of a cable sub, it’ll force you to that login page.

What do you mean it won't let you? When you click "log in with TV provider" what does it tell you?

I despise the ESPN app. I have to re-authenticate literally every time I use it.
Watched the replay of the baseball game - as soon as it ended - got a message to re-authenticate.
It's pure trash... as far as apps go.

When I select cox, it gives me this screen. It doesn’t have the field for the login or password.

My espn+ login works, but I can’t watch the normal espn channels.
