I am happy with Windows 10 - I have no issues with it but I keep getting these Critical Error type messages basically screaming at me telling me that my PC is Not yet compatable for Windows 11 -
It's asking me every 20 fricking minutes to restart my computer to update my computer so that my computer will be compatable with Windows 11.
It's NOT a virus - I have no viruses on this machine
I don't want Windows 11 and it seems that it is trying to force me to upgrade to Windows 11
I use a lot of old school legit (meaning I paid for) programs that I love from past years and I just know they will not work with this new Windows 11
I am the type that when I install a program and I end up loving it, I do not want to upgrade to the latest version unless it is a serious securuity issue.
Is anyone having this issue with Windows 10?

Do you know that you know this?

Well considering a few of them have stopped development, I’d say a strong maybe
They are djing, song editing, song tagging, etc type programs that they simply haven’t updated in quite a while

Windows 10 to Windows 11 was basically a feature update. I obviously can't make you any promises, but if you're thinking of the aggravation moving from, for example, Windows 95 to Windows XP, this ain't that. I would be genuinely surprised if a program that worked fine in Windows 10 didn't work in Windows 11. Are there any user forums anywhere for those programs that you could ask?

A win 11 update earlier this year pissed me off with disallowing printer share hosting.
I’m just gonna have to give the printer its own network connection. I didn’t do that prep because I was too lazy.

The feature that they removed from W11 that I miss the most is the ability to drag a file to a pinned icon on the desktop and have it open it. I used to use that all the time... :(

Microsoft did the printer sharing thing to Windows 10 as well. It was a security issus. You can change both 10 and 11 with a registry fix and reshare your printer.
