My iPhone does do that for me though. :shrug:

Maps Destinations widget shows home, work, destinations that are in your calendar, where you parked your car, etc.

Well for one, Samsung contributed the hardware that made apple what it is. So there is always that.

I get a notification on my lock screen from Apple Maps telling me how long it will take to get to work and get home (depending on the time of day) whenever I get in my truck and if I open waze it automatically routes to the appropriate location.
