My son mentioned wanting something like this for Christmas. He’s a coach and wants to be able to film while coaching on the field.
Anyone know of a popular brand for this type of product?

The problem with anything wearable would be field of view, as in too much. All of these products are wide angle or ultra wide angle. From the distances you'd have to film from, I'd expect mediocre results. You could achieve the same results with a GoPro or any similar action camera.
Also most people move their heads WAY more than they realize. This is fine for our eyes because the have the ability to track individual subjects. However, when converted to a camera, you get way too much movement. I often get "sea sick" watching POV videos because of the extraneous movement.
If you're son really wants to do this, a dedicated camera to film plays would be the best bet.
