that was a real head-scratcher. its definitely a first in the home automation game.
ring charging a monthly fee to store hundreds of GB worth of useless video is one thing. chamberlain 'punishing' users who want to do cool things with their garage door is stupid as shite.
its a damn garage door. it goes up, it goes down. why they think they can get away with charging a subscription to automate the door closing based on something a user wants is beyond me.

Not sure... I don't use voice control for anything. I open the app and open/close the door.
Instead of having a garage remote in the truck, I use the app.

I went ahead with the GogoGate2. It uses IFTTT which some people may not be a fan of, but it has been rock solid and I use Google Assistant with it.
