Streaming Service Question

Hey Baws - long time listener first time caller. Question for y'all: I'm curious what you recommend as the best setup for your streaming and cable needs? I currently use HD rabbit ears for live games on the locals and the kids mainly watch youtube and amazon prime. What do you think is the cheapest and best solution to get LSU games? Is it slingtv? YouTube TV and Hulu seem way too expensive for what we're looking for... I'd love your input!

ESPN + would offer all the LSU games

If you had cable or satellite in the past try that info when it asks for provider info.

Sportsurge, streameast, etc are free sites and probably have most, if not every LSU football game. Not sure about basketball. Definitely not baseball. Only way to get free baseball games is if you majored in cajunomics. ESPN+ is the best bet to make sure you'll be able to see almost everything, and is only $10 a month.

No you need ESPN through a cable or streaming service, you can’t just pay 6 bucks a month or whatever to get all ESPN games.

Unless they have changed it recently you can not get ESPN+ as a standalone you have to have a TV provider account.

I went round and round with this for a couple of years cause I didn't want to "waste my money" on a streaming service. Trying to watch games on free sites were unreliable and low quality. Just get YouTube TV and be done with it. I'm glad I did.

YouTube TV is the best overall package that has just about every sport channel you could need to watch college sports, LSU included.
The only reason I bounce between them and Direct TV Stream is because the Astros have stupid limited viewing options. If the other streaming services ever get a hold of the Space City channel, they'll make bank.

Yeah, it seems like SlingTv might be the cheapest option to get just ESPN, and it offers an additional $11 option to get SEC Network, which I believe would cover me on all LSU games. Regarding ESPN+, it didn't seem like this would be a great option w/o having been a prior member of a cable service.

IPTV and ESPN+ for cheapest and best.

Ok. I thought ESPN offered a stand alone service

You can but it does not give you access to games that play on ABC/ESPN stations on cable (ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, SECN, etc), those require a cable, satellite, or streaming provider subscription
