Spotify hacking (rant)

4th time in as many months I've changed my password and logged out all devices.
Tired of opening the app and it says im listening to arab music on "chrome mobile".
Now im even getting logins to my hulu that's connected through spotify from Bangladesh.
SP needs to unfrick itself.

My Spotify was hacked and the guy who hacked it made a playlist named "Please dont change password"

That's kind of crazy that they're able to get your password again after you change it. Sounds like something on Spotify's end is compromised. How difficult are your passwords?

instead of changing your password from password1 to password2, are you using a really strong password?

I just had to change my password. Successfully login on chrome, login with desktop app...

The passwords are usually 2 lower, 2 upper, 3 special chars, and 2 numbers.
Hulu had a separate different password, but i get hulu with my spotify premium so i can only assume theyre getting that when they get my spotify.
They claim no payment info is shown on your account so you have no risk of losing your cc number. We shall see.

Change the email associated with the account or at the very least the password to that as well.

That sounds like either your email address, recovery questions, or both are compromised. I very seriously doubt someone is directly attacking Spotify’s system just to get you.
