Speaking of OLED, rollable is out...

LG Electronics today announced the “World’s First Rollable OLED TV,” the LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R (model 65R9).
The LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R is able to rise and roll-up at the touch of a button. The LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R can transform itself to offer three different viewing options – Full View, Line View and Zero View.

What’s gonna keep the screen from curling?

Also this would be a no go for us baws that have ceiling fans in every room. Can’t have the picture swaying.

Of course I doubt I could ever afford it anyway.

Must be pretty "stiff" cause it also rolls up from the ground.

The better screens have tensioning built-in to prevent that.

Samsung and LG are 2 of my bigger clients during CES. Sometimes in the past they’ve opted to basically give away these TVs they roll out at CES rather than the hassle of shipping back to Korea. I tried with this TV and the Samsung micro LED TV and they just laughed.
