I'm upgrading my TV/surround sound setup in the living room. I'm looking at the Sonos Arc and sub, but I have to get a TV with the eARC output. Looks to me like the Sony X900H has an update that supports this, but I couldn't find a definitive answer.
Does anyone have the X900H and can verify the TV has an eARC output?

check the sonos subreddit. There's a device called the HD fury that some people are using to force some TVs to work with ARCs or other devices.

From what I've read earc is not enabled until the hdmi 2.1 update is done which I think came out in October.

100 % can confirm it does its HDMI 3 input out of the 4 HDMI inputs.
There are updates for the 2.1 HDMI , but those are only for HDMI inputs 3 and 4. This leaves you with two regular HDMI inputs.
The tv is also the same as X90CH at Sam’s .
