Anyone had this issue? I cannot get mine to power up and display anything. Apparently this is a common problem with them according to some internet searches I have done. If you had it, did you get it repaired or just buy a new one?

Did you try all the reboot options w/ and w/o the remote? Had a Samsung do the same thing. Nothing worked for me, trying to decide whether to replace or have fixed.

Just a shot in the dark here, but holding the power button on mine has fixed a few things.

I have two new Bravia's and both have done some weird shite. The first one, i just held down the power button under the TV. The other TV i had to unplug it, press the power button a few times and then plug it back in. Both came back.

My Sony a80j refused to power up just the other day.

I even pulled the power cable. Tried a different outlet. You name it.

Gave up and was thinking I’d use my geek squad plan.

However I have an automation with Google home for my A80J to turn on in the morning and play the news. Went do bed thinking the tv was dead. Woke up to it turning on from the automation like nothing happened. Been working ever since.
