Getting really tired of doing whatever steps are necessary to get my Versa 3 to sync. I have followed every rec I can find.
What's a better option with more reliable pairing with these priorities basically in order:
Texts
Analog face options
Answer calls

Step counter
Heart rate monitor
Sleep tracker.

Fitbit is great if your primary reason for having the watch is fitness-related but if interfacing with your phone and watch face options is most important, then go with a watch that is directed toward your OS on your phone.
For IOS (iPhone) the Apple Watch is the most seamless. I have an iPhone so this is from personal experience.
For Android, I think the Samsung Galaxy Watch would be ideal but that is purely speculation on my part.

i know you don't care for my opinion
but i have the luxe which looks more like a livestrong band than a watch. i use it exclusively for step/hr/ecg/sleep metrics and make no attempt to use it to sync my email or texts.
i love the battery will last about 8 days and the alarm is awesome; it wakes you up 'around' the time you set (but always before) when you're most awake so its less annoying. just a gentle vibration on the wrist. best alarm ever!
in short, i love my fitbit to monitor my health & sleep and nothing else.

The Fitbit models have no equal when it comes to health/fitness monitoring and battery life IMO.
I switched to the Apple Watch because I wanted a bit better integration with my iPhone. I'm also become a fat slob so didn't use the fitness tracker as much
