Both the voice recognition and natural language processing of digital assistants across the board has improved to the point where, within reason, they will understand everything you say to them.

The google home max and the HomePod sound good. Maybe not 300-400$ good but they’re new and top of the line smart speakers and v1.

Doesn’t the HomePod just use Siri? No fricking way siri out performed Alexa. I refuse to believe it. Siri is dogshit in every possible way.

I got my wife the ultimate ears with Alexa. It's loud and works great.

I swapped from Echo devices to Google shone minis after I got 9 for $73.
The google home mini is so vastly superior to the echo it’s crazy.

I wouldn’t say the google home mini or any of the google line is vastly superior, however, we previously had Alexa and we prefer google now too.

Just got the Sonos One. Sounds great and it can use Google or Alexa.
