Setting up a router as a VPN tunnel. Need assistance.

I am trying to set up my router as a VPN tunnel so that all my devices will use the VPN without having to configure them individually. I have a Medialink AC1200 router, which is supposed to have VPN capability and signed up for Private Internet Access VPN service. Problem is, I can't figure out how to connect the router to the service. I've contacted PIA, but they don't support outside hardware and Medialink tech support hasn't returned my calls.
Any help, advice, or links to video/instructions would be greatly appreciated.

You should have some kind of Advanced/manual settings..Mine is in AP mode so VPN is greyed out but possibly just google your model and VPN

What does the web interface of your router show?

Might have more luck finding out if your router is running openwrt firmware or something similar then reading about that.
You might want to be aware that Netflix and other streaming sites might not work on PIA. Netflix blocks vpn servers regularly so be prepared to play help desk if there's other members of your family on that network

I would imagine if he used openwrt he might be able to do some sort of port forwarding where Netflix could go around the tunnel.

From what I can see, the router does not contain native support VPN tunneling. The only VPN options are configuring it as a VPN option for you to connect to.
User Guide
It doesn't appear to be on the OpenWRT list either:
MediaLink is not represented
Your best bet is to either configure it at your modem (if possible) or swap out your router. I would avoid making configuration changes to your modem.

Thanks for all the responses. Mediabridge finally called me back and my tunnel is up and running. Turns out that I was on the right track, but wasn't entering the correct IP information into my PPTP/L2TP client. I was entering web address and it needed the direct IP to connect.
The AC1200 does support native VPN tunneling, but requires a firmware patch for some services. Luckily, PIA is supported.
