We all realize the polarizing camps between iPhone and Android and I don’t want to get into that at all...

I’ve had an iPhone since Gen1 and I tried an android for about 7-10 days years ago and was blown away by the “device”, but HATED the software inside... anyway...

How in the world has Apple not implemented a “Search this page...” function when you hold down the screen on a website/etc?!

I can “Look up...”, “Speak...”, etc. and it kills me that there wouldn’t be a “Search...” for text strings and/or content...

Can I even suggest that somewhere?

p.s. And FWIW, if they could put the iPhone software in a Samsung/Android device, I’d snap that shite up with a quickness

Go to the URL bar at the top, instead of a URL type in your search term, results will come in sections. The last section will have "On this Page" results

Just found out I was doing it the hard way with the “Search on Page” using the box with the up arrow (don’t know what that’s called) at the bottom of Safari.

I tried your suggestion and I don't see the "On this page" in the options at the bottom...

If you can help me with this, that'd be fricking sweet.

I'm on iOS 13.5.1

I’m not sure why you don’t see it. You might need to scroll more? But here’s another way to get at the same functionality LINK
