This thing sucks. The interface with Philips Hues bulbs are terrible. The damn thing needs to be almost touching my lock for it to work. Are any of you happy with this? I can’t seem to get any utility out of it.

Yes, I think it's a great product.

What do you use it for? How do you get the most out of it?

Works great for me to control my Samsung TV from my Samsung phone natively.

Any good resources to learn the utility of the thing? What do you have it doing?

SmartThings works great for me. I use it to automate turning on/off exterior lights at sunset and sunrise. I even have it so that it does it at different times each other day so no one picks up on a pattern. To do this I installed GE Zwave light switches.

For inside, I have installed GE Zwave motion sensor light switches. I have it so if motion is detected in the evening it will automatically turn on certain lights. For example when I walk in through the front door at night, it will automatically turn on the lights in the foyer, kitchen etc. It will then turn it off after no motion is detected for a few minutes. Works great when u get up for that late night snack and don't need to fumble around looking for light switches.

I even put one of these in my unfinished basement and it will turn on all the lights down there if it sees motion and alert on my phone.

The next thing I'm going to do is to it have turn on lights with a certain color in the master bedroom when I'm asleep if motion is detected in the basement or on my Ring doorbell.

I have a water sensor next to the water heater in case there is a leak which will alert me. I have a sensor on the garage door so I can see if the door is up or not.

Also, I just saw they now have a Zwave smoke/carbon monoxide detector. I'm planning to install a couple of these as well.

Works well for me. Controls smart light bulbs, smart outlets, smart wall switches, motion sensors.. etc. Now integrated with IFTTT and still adding to it.
