Do you ever go into settings>device maintenance and hit optimize? This or a restart seems to fix my battery issues every time it starts draining quickly.

And it was still a better phone than the S6 by a country mile. 
Year after year, there is so much hype for Samsung phones and people buy into it. They pay for favorable reviews, they pay for competition to get disfavorable reviews; they may look great on paper, but the phones are shite. The only things they do well are cameras and screens.

I do the maintenance thing daily. Restart every other day or so.
I just ran an update this morning, and the battery seemed marginally better, but maybe that's just in my head

You keep reading these awesome reviews on the s8, but similar things were said about the 7, 6, etc..
The htc looks promising, and I already have sprint, so that's convenient. But God damn I can't help but want the keyone.
