2 story townhome with quite a few neighbors close by
-up to 4 devices connected at one time
-not more than 2 devices streaming at a time
-currently have 100Mbs speed internet

The Netgear security issues kinda worried me about the R7000,6700. Some complaints on amazon about Google Wifi being a little buggy. Archer C7 is the cheapest.

Netgear has fixed the issue with a patch. I have had no problems with my nighthawk. Cannot comment on the others because I have not used.

Just hooked up a Nighthawk and it's night and day difference to what I previously was using. Can't speak for the others you listed

For the nighthawk responders which one do you have? 6700,7000,8000?

7000

3 phones, 2 tablets, 2 laptops, 1 computer, 3 rokus, 3 fire tvs, 3 echoes, plex server

Only reason I bought it, there was a price mistake at walmart and got it for 89 bucks. I had an asus before that.

Had the Archer but returned it for a Nighthawk. Have had no issues with the Nighthawk R7000.

They'd have 6700 nighthawk for $99 on Amazon. Thinking about getting one for upstairs and one for down

I've had the Archer C7 for a while now. I ordered it last June according to Amazon. I have our Mac Mini and Fire TV set up on the 5G band since they are stationary and I wanted faster signal. The phones and Tablets to the 2.4G band. I live in a 2 story house with a full basement, and the router is in the center of the top floor. TV with Fire Stick is one floor down, about 12 feet away. The computer about the same. I can be at the very back of my yard (half an acre lot) and stream Pandora on my phone while connected to the 2.4G band.

I always recommend the C7. I've bought and use 2. One as a VPN router at home (so I can watch Astros games through my Apple TV) and the other at my office. Both continue to work great for me.
