Agreed. I know what I pay annually for ADT, so i'm intrigued.

Crap they didn’t send something to those who preordered last time with their $100 off coupons.

No monthly fee correct?

Still better than ADT.
Agreed. I could pay the 100 a year + 200 startup kit, plus extra keypad and window/door sensors, and STILL pay less than what I pay a year for ADT.

The $100 per year also includes cloud storage on an unlimited amount of ring cameras. Before the Ring Cameras were $30/ year per camera or $100 for unlimited, so basically the monitoring would be included if you already were paying for the cameras
Not bad imo

I'm assuming this system is all battery powered?

Very tempting
How much is this system going to be normally?

I called and bitched them out that they didn’t send my $100 off coupon and let us old preorders get first dibs. They apologized and gave me a discount on another item and they sent it to me the $100 off 30 mins later. Preordered with 2 extra door sensors and 3 smoke/CO alarms.
Yes, batteries last years though, it’s how current system works, so no big change for me.

$200 startup kit (1 contact sensor, motion detector, keypad, alarm speaker, range extender)
$20 for extra contact sensors
$50 for extra keypad
$30 for motion
$40 for smoke/CO alarm
$100 a year or $10 a month, that’s normal pricing not a special and includes unlimited Ring Camera storage. So you can get unlimited floodlight/spotlight/doorbell camera cloud storage for free. One camera is normally $3 a month or $30 a year.

Would you not want contact sensors on every door and window? I understand it has a motion sensor but I would want a sensor on everything. At $20/ea that's pricey..

Custom Security charges $35 per wireless window sensor...

I would just put these on doors, these aren't window break sensors. If someone smashes through a window, I doubt they will be kind enough to open it to get caught.
This works with zwave equipment, so I think they will probably bring in zwave window break later as there are some already on the market like they are doing with the first alert smoke/CO detectors.
But yeah, window break sensors aren't cheap $30+.

Glass break detectors suck. I’d put switches on all my windows.
