Restaurant inside 5g to 5g+ but speeds are horrible - Few feet outside, speed is amazing.

This is with AT&T and a iPhone 14 Pro Max
What could be causing this?
I thought AT&T suppose to be good even inside ?
Does not happen at home.
Is it just the nature of the beast, cellular data?

5G+ is AT&T's name for their high-frequency ("mmWave") network and penetration through walls and other obstacles is not good at those frequencies. Also like all radio waves penetration through metal is even worse than through wood or other building materials. I think there's a good chance the restaurant is made of more metal than your house.
