Very basic, at-home use with rare to occasional streaming. No gaming. Just looking for reliability here without too much complication. No Mac OS please***

Sounds like your standards are not very demanding. So just go to Costco or Sams and get whatever one looks best.

The best thing you can do with an all in one is either buy it with a solid state hard drive or add one after you buy it. The biggest issue with all in ones is that they operate pretty much at the limit of their capacity. The only way to make them faster or more stable is through upgrading the hard drive to solid state. I've done that with two all in ones that I have at home for kids to do homework on and it makes a huge difference.

This is the reason I don't think I would ever buy an all-in-one. I haven't had the need yet so far, but if I had to save space I would get a small form factor machine (like a NUC) and mount it to the rear of a monitor. This gives you the space savings (though a bit less sleek) while also providing better upgrade and repair options.
