We are using a reefer trailer at work to hold temperature sensitive foods and I would like to buy something that will alert my phone if the temperature gets too high in the trailer. Anyone have any recs? Thanks in advance.

You might try ThermoWorks, though off the top of my head I don't think I've seen anything that would work while you're completely away.

explain how this trailer is used? is it stationary and never moves? is it close to a landline or internet connection? if it moves around, is cellular connectivity available?

We manufacture a food that needs to be refrigerated until we send it off to be irradiated. Once food is manufactured, we place it in the trailer until it is full. Trailer is stationary until we are ready to transport. (Has a generator for transport) Trailer is by a warehouse with wifi.
Basically I just want to be able to monitor while trailer is stationary and full of product. Once we are transporting, it is not necessary to monitor since our trip is only 5 hours and product would still be cold without the unit on.

Look up Cargo Data. I use some of their one way temp monitors.
