100% love mine, as backup / tailgate internet. Would never consider it for primary, right now, unless I didn’t have any other option.
My home assistant add in in the rv runs speed tests throughout the day. Mine ranges from 140 to 10 with some drop outs of 20 to 30 seconds depending on the time of day. It’s all over the place all day with 0 obstructions. It’s still better than it was when it first came out by a long shot and it should keep getting better, just not quite there yet.

Yes, all tests were Wi-Fi, but my current laptop doesn’t have an Ethernet port, so I would have to find my old laptop to test the speeds.

For all of y'all folks paying $50 a month for T-Mobile 5G Home Internet, you should call T-Mobile Customer Support and tell them you want to start paying $30 a month like a lot of other folks are. I was paying $50 a month mid last year and I saw where other people were paying $30 a month. I called them and said I want that deal. They immediately said okay and they updated my account for only $30 a month. If they for some reason tell you they can't give you that deal, then tell them that's not right and let them know you are upset about it. T-Mobile customer support does not like any customers to be unhappy. I'd be surprised if you don't end up with this better deal.

Do they mention release dates on these new modems? Like everyone, I'd prefer the latest and greatest if they're giving them to end users for free.

I currently have Spectrum, but I'm going to drop these bums for YouTube TV at this point. And I don't want to keep the Spectrum internet with all of their nonsense.
I am a TMO customer, so I can get the 5G internet for $30/month.
I am also eligible to get Fiber. The 300 up/down for $40/month or 500 up/down for $50/month or 1gig for $70 (940 down and 500 up). These rates are locked for 2 years so who knows what they'll be after.
Is there any debate, do I just go for fiber?

This is interesting. I’m currently using ATT fixed wireless. It’s serviceable during the daytime but I routinely get download speeds below 0.5 mbps in the evenings. I have been on the Starlink list for 2 years but decided not to sign up despite finally getting a confirmation 2 weeks ago. That initial $600 was too much to offset what’s essentially an inconvenience, knowing fiber should be coming in next couple of years. I may give this T mobile stuff a try, though, as it indicates it’s available for me.

Second day with the new 5G T-Mobile. Some cloud cover and it’s dead in the water. Not impressed.
