PSA: AT&T upped their speeds - but you have to order the new plan

Messing around on the AT&T site - and noticed that my internet package (18 MB) was marked as "not available" or some wording like that. The 25 MB package was listed next to it and is the same price - I clicked "Order" and updated everything and checked last night - now getting an average of 22 - 23 MB.
Thanks AT&T...basically offering a free upgrade - but only if you figure it out yourself.

AT&T certainly sucks, but they are just woefully incompetent. I’ve been listed for anything from 1 mb/s to 25 mb/s.
Have had at least 5 different technicians to my house to determine what I can actually get. Ultimately ended up with 10 Mbps, but outside their recommended distance. Their charts only call for me to get 6.

It’s not his fault. Internet providers in Baton Rouge just kind of suck. Lots of areas that will never use fiber have it and lots of areas that need fiber can get a max 50mb. It stupid.

Yikes. They offer 100MB, 300MB (same price), and 1 Gig in Austin.

In my experience as a former customer of 14 years...AT&T offers absolutely nothing free. You will get surprise in your bill in a couple months charging you for your upgrade.
